Recognition of MSc Degrees for Further Studies
The recognition of MSc degrees is regulated by Act C of 2001 on the Recognition of Foreign Certificates and Degrees. Recognition of the degree falls within the authority of the specific educational institution only if the applicant intends to pursue further studies there, and it only grants eligibility for further studies at that institution. Applicants must submit the following form, completed and signed, to the Doctoral Group along with the attachments specified in the form.
Recognition of MSc Degrees for Employment Purposes
The recognition of MSc degrees is governed by Act C of 2001 on the Recognition of Foreign Certificates and Degrees. The recognition of a foreign MSc degree as equivalent to a domestic master's degree for the purpose of filling academic or research positions in higher education institutions is the responsibility of the domestic institution intending to employ the holder of the foreign degree.
